Chasing brooklyn is a poetry novel about a teenage girl who lost her boyfriend in a tragic car accident. Her boyfriend's best friend was driving and couldn't handle the grief. He committed suicide by a drug overdose. The novel is also about the boyfriends brother Nico who is being haunted by his brother to help Brooklyn. Brooklyn is being haunted by her boyfriends best friend who overdosed. Brooklyn and Nico come together to do a triathlon and fall in love.
I recommend Chasing Brooklyn to anyone who is ready for a tragic but suspenseful love story. This book will capture your heart and make you realize that in life the most important thing is love and happiness. It looks like a really long book but it is very hard to put down. I would say this book may be more like read by girls rather than guys but guys may also enjoy the read.
