Guilty?
We are reading Monster in class and in the book I do not believe Steve is innocent. I believe this because when Steve left the drugstore he tried to make his mind go blank and when the police came to his house Steve couldn't even look at his mother that is why i think Steve is guilty.

jail 21 years
If I were in jail for 21 years and 3 months I would be thirty seven years old. The year would be 2031. I think that if I was to go to jail for 21 years and 3 months technology would be changed, the president would be changed, my ability to get a job would be changed. I would not have a family, because my family would abandon me, and I would not have any children or a husband. I think that if I were in jail for 21 years that I would have a hard time making decisions on my own. I would not be able to choose what I would want or what to do. My chances of having a husband is slim and the chances of having a good husband is almost impossible. My family wouldn't trust me with their children and I most likely wouldn't have any of my own.

Tricks
Tricks By Ellen Hopkins
Tricks is a wonderful book about five teens with very different life styles and their story that is sugar coated with sex, lies, and prostitution. The trouble that all five teens manage to get into is amazing, and scary to read about. None of the characters know each other My favorite character was Eden Streit because she really did nothing wrong and the journey she went through for love is amazing. I liked all the characters except one and that is Cody Bennett he had other choices, his life could have been better. He caused a lot of his problems and the others didn't have much of a choice. Somehow four of the five get into this company called Have Your Cake and Eat it Too. I liked how Tricks was written in poetic novel form, that makes it a very fast read and even though it looks long it goes very fast! Every page you read there is something new going on. I loved it so much I could read it again. This book is very heavy so I would recommend it to mature readers and I believe that both boys and girls would enjoy.

Ghetto Life 101
What I have learned about Ghetto Life is that people that live in the Ghetto life in tight conditions, with more than ten people living in one apartment. Kids usually do not graduate from high school. There is a high rate of drug and alcohol abuse, and a high rate of death. There was one thing that I will never forget, and that is when I learned about what happened to Eric Morse. Eric Morse was a five year old little boy that was dropped out a fourteen story window all because he wouldn't steal some candy for two boys that were about the age of ten. I couldn't believe that those two little boys would drop a five year old out a fourteen story window.
